Shawdesh Desk: Police arrested 16 girls and 3 youths in compromising position during a drive at a spa centre and three others salons at Navana Tower in the capital’s Gulshan area on Sunday night.

The identities of the arrestees couldn’t be known immediately.

Confirming the drive, deputy commission (DC) of police (Gulshan zone) Sudip Kumar Chakraborty said, a team of Gulshan police started the drive at ‘Life Style and Health Centre’ and three other salons on the 19th floor of the Navana Tower around 9:00 pm after receiving the information of anti-social activates three.

They were detained for their alleged involvement in anti-social activities in the name of running salons and spa centres there, he said.

Sudip Kumar police also said, they are conducting the drive after getting specific allegations of anti-social activities there.
